I got a little fed up with trying to control the transfer of 23 Litres of brew from bag to carboy so came up with a spigot made from a spare top/cap and Sch40 (potable) pipe, also pipe to thread adaptor .
The spigot can be used on its own or with the pipe extension, the tube fits snug inside the pipe and wedges into the slightly smaller adaptor on the cap end making it virtually leak free.

Nice. I got fed up and quit using carboys for paddockwood kits.
