No power at all. Is there a fuse inside this?

There probably is a fuse; is there a black knob or a large screw on the bottom/back? You could also try opening it to see if there is one inside.

No fuse. I took it apart and no fuse.

That is odd. Do you have a multimeter or conductivity tester? Or can you post a photo of its insides? It may be an easy fix.

No fuse is very odd... What is the entire make and model number?

A buddy of mine has a meter and found the on/off switch was defective. I can solder the two connections together and just use the power cord to switch it on and off. Now I have two of these, but I can use them no problem.

Did you happen to notice why the on/off switch failed? Weak contacts?

Just by looking at it, no. It isn't lose or damaged. I can still use it, just use the plug. We did have a power surge a day or so before I used it and it was plugged in. Just a theory.
