Brewing Ingredients on Hand
Brewing Ingredients on Hand
I got a sack of 2 row last week and have filled all of my carboys. A lot of e-mails and phone calls to find out who is open and who is not. Looks like I will be doing a lot of bottle conditioning later on this month as I don't think I can buy any C02 around here. I realize for most people brewing isn't on the top of their list at this time. I have noticed that Canada Post is slow, but still delivering parcels. For me, may as well brew beer as it is still too cold for yard work, pool work, etc. What is everyone else doing?

Re: Brewing Ingredients on Hand
A lot of the people in my brewclub are brewing - stuck at home, not much to do, so may as well make beer. I've made two batches in the past week, and have a third planned for ~2 weeks from now. Not sure what I'll do if I run out of CO2 - I may have to go back to bottling :-(

I'm also out of CO2 but I have a bunch of swing top bottles. I should make some beer to fill my days off. I'm lucky, still working.
Stay positive folks. Might be 18 months of this.

I ordered some hops and dry yeast from OBK and it came in 4 days.

I keep reading on most of the beer forums on Facebook around the world that people are starting to run out of C02. It should be an " essential business".
