Yup. OG 1.062... kegged reading 1.030. And since I really didn't want a much higher ABV. 4.5 would be ideal. And being at 4.2...

I'm not refrigerating for a week, so I'm expecting a some mild fermentation. We'll see what happens on Friday. I'll take another reading then.

Now I've never tried doing this before, but I'll know in a few days LOL

I have had a milk stout finish at 1.030 and it was good. But that was because i boiled off too much and finished with half the wort i was supposed to without adjusting lactose. Hopefully it turns out good for you.

Boiled off too much? That's a sad story! But as long as it worked out, I guess that's what matters.

I took a reading from the keg last night. 1.026... I'm shooting for 1.024, so I'll probably stick it in the fridge this evening.

Looks like it's working out. Tasted fine too. Just a little too hoppy for a wheat, but I was curious. Now I know LOL

I boiled off too much and miscalculated sparge water volume!

That is really high. Don't be scared to dilute your beer if you need to bring the gravity down, it's already 90+% water.
