I can attest to this. I am sampling the Hobgoblin clone that I made a few weeks back and it does have a fruity/floral flavour to it.Tony wrote: US-04 is a very fast fermenter and probably will raise the fermenting temps high.
Fermenting at about 62 - 64f will keep the fruity taste in check a little.
My basement is pretty constant 68F and has never been a issue with US-05. Next time I brew I will have to lower my fermenting temp.
