use both cans of the stout extract in a single brew....yumm.

I would suspect infection as well. Most likely acetobacter. As for the too much sugar, this would give a different taste more of a cidery/cooked apple, at least that's what I've tasted in can/kit beers.

Opened another today since Rhetorik actually downed a bottle with no comments. Gushed up like Ol' Faithful, but tasted the same.

I think I'll just dump the batch.
I've never understood the policy against "necro threads" on almost every forum. Why tell us to use the search function for a particular topic, then complain when an older thread has a new post in it?
