Over Primed
Over Primed
Hello this is my first post and I am hoping for some advice please. I bottled some chocolate coffee stout 48 hours ago and know I have over primed. It is delicious and perfectly carbonated already. How should I handle this problem. recap? pasteurize? Other?

Re: Over Primed
If you have enough room, toss them in a cold fridge and enjoy shortly.
In the fermentor: Golden Sour, Not a Pill v2
Tap 1: Puck that Filsner; Berliner Weisse
Tap 2: Not a Pill; Lager
Tap 3: Paddockwood Kolsch

Re-cap them?
Re: Over Primed
I think I'll re cap and then test again in a couple days and maybe re cap a 2nd time if needed. Just calculated to about 3.5 CO2 volume so probably won't have bombs but way too much carbonation for stout if I don't try to do something. Thanks.
