Brewing a Chocolate Raspberry Porter. Comes off the fruit in a couple of days. Have to see where the flavor is at after a couple of weeks in a storage keg as may add a vanilla bean as well. Anyone do a brew of this sort?, and if so would love to know of your experiences.

I do, and it turned out much better than my lager did. Brewing another one soon.

Hi Reignman. You must be the resident Kolsch expert! What is you SG and your FG? Are you using a german hop? like a perle for boiling and Halertau for finishing? What is your IBU on that? I always have either a Bavarian or a german Pilsner on tap, but it would be nice to have a good Kolsch recipe when I don't have the time for a pilsner.
Thanks!

Bodhl, I am no expert, just brew a lot of Kolsch beers. Here is my current recipe I haven't brewed yet.

11 lbs. Pils malt
10 ozs. Munich I
10 ozs. Wheat
6 ozs. Acid Malt
6.6 g German Magnum at 60 min.
15 g Hallertauer at 60 min.
14 g Tettnanger at 30 min.
WLP029 Kolsch
O.G. - 1.049
F.G. - 1.012 - (usually)
% - 4.7
IBU - 17.8
SRM - 3.6
Ferment at 62 F.
